In Baptism, God brings to an infant His blessings of forgiveness of sins, new life, and eternal salvation. After being instructed in Christian doctrine, a maturing child pledges to remain faithful even unto death, confident in God’s promise to bestow the crown of life. (Revelation 2:10)
